Jim Schley

Jim Schley graduated from Dartmouth College with majors in Literature & Creative Writing and Native American Studies, then earned an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College. He has been co-editor of the quarterly New England Review and editor-in-chief of the book publisher Chelsea Green, and he is now managing editor for Tupelo Press. He's also an associate member of the journalists' collective Homelands Productions. He's the former director of The Frost Place museum and poetry center, and as a performer he has toured extensively with Bread & Puppet Theater, the Swiss ensemble Les Montreurs d’Images, and Flock Dance Troupe. He is author of a poetry chapbook, One Another (Chapiteau, 1999) and a book of poems, As When, In Season (Marick, 2008), and he lives with his family in Vermont on a land cooperative.
