bg THURSTON
bg Thurston is a former systems analyst and a graduate of Vermont College's MFA in Writing Program. Most of her poetry focuses on nature as an illumination of human thought and emotion. She teaches poetry at a variety of continuing education programs including Lasell Village in Newton, MA, Newton Lifetime Learning, and Vermont College’s Online Poetry Classes. Her work has appeared in Tar River Poetry, The Comstock Review, The Worcester Review, and The Christian Science Monitor. Her chapbook, Saving the Lamb, was released by Finishing Line Press in May of this year and her full-length collection, Nightwalking, is forthcoming in 2008. She lives with her family, including sheep and chickens, on a farm in central Massachusetts.
