REBECCA KAISER GIBSON
Rebecca Kaiser Gibson teaches poetry at Tufts University. Her poetry
has appeared in Northwest Review, The Boston Review, Field, Agni, The
Boston Phoenix, Antigonish, Mothering Magazine and Verse Daily. She
has poetry forthcoming in Margie and the Harvard Review, as well an in
anthology, (Cadence of Hooves.) Admit the Peacock and Inside The
Exhibition, are her two recently published chapbooks.
She's written poetry reviews for Pleiades and The Boston Book Review,
and holds an MA in Creative Writing, Poetry from BU as well as an MAT
in teaching theatre from Columbia University Teachers College, and an
MA in directing from the University of Pittsburgh. She's been a
colonist at the MacDowell Colony and writer in residence at The
Heinrich Böll Cottage in Ireland.
Gibson has given readings at Newton, North Cambridge and Somerville
public libraries as well as at the Bay State Corrections Facility, the
Second Friday Club. and the Poetry Festival, Readers' Books, Sonoma,
California. She was a featured reader for Radio for the Blind, The
Porter Square Book Store, Borders' Books (downtown Boston) and the
Brookline Booksmith poetry series. She was interviewed on Poet to Poet,
(SAT, Somerville Access TV.).
